Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 2026

Overview

Baby Log is designed with your privacy as the top priority. The app operates 100% offline. We do not collect, transmit, or store any of your personal data on external servers. All information you enter stays exclusively on your device.

Data Collection

We do not collect any personal data. Baby Log does not require an internet connection to function, and no data is ever sent from the app to us or any third party. All baby tracking data (feeding logs, diaper changes, medicine records, growth measurements, tummy time sessions) is stored locally on your device only.

Use of TelemetryDeck to analyze app usage

Baby Log does not include any advertising frameworks or third-party tracking tools, and we never sell your data. We do use the privacy-friendly analytics service TelemetryDeck (provider: TelemetryDeck GmbH, Von-der-Tann-Str. 54, 86159 Augsburg, Germany) to analyze usage data on our website and within the Baby Log mobile apps. The use is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR, as we require reliable and efficient tools for collecting app usage data in order to fulfill the contract with you, our customer.

What data is transferred?
The data processed by TelemetryDeck is completely anonymized and does not allow any conclusions to be drawn about personal information. The following data is collected, among other things:

  • an anonymized, untraceable user ID (per app installation),
  • actions defined by the app publisher (e.g., "app launched," "settings opened"),
  • a rounded timestamp (to the nearest hour),
  • device metadata (e.g., system version, app version, device type),
  • additional metadata defined by the app publisher (e.g., "number of items in the database").

What is not stored?

  • No IP addresses (not in logs, not in the database),
  • No cookies or tracking technologies,
  • no persistent identifiers that could be traced back to individuals.

The source code of the TelemetryDeck SDK is completely open source and available on GitHub: https://github.com/TelemetryDeck.

Further information on the exact data processing by TelemetryDeck can be found at telemetrydeck.com/privacy and at telemetrydeck.com/docs/guides/privacy-faq.

Use of RevenueCat to manage subscriptions

We use RevenueCat (RevenueCat, Inc., 2261 Market Street #5011, San Francisco, CA 94114, USA) to manage in-app purchases and subscriptions and to process related purchase and analytics events. The use is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR, as it is necessary to fulfill our contract with you regarding premium features.

What data is transferred?
RevenueCat is assigned a random, anonymized installation ID that is not linked to your Apple ID, Google account, email address, or any other personal identifier. It receives purchase and subscription events (e.g., product purchased, renewed, or expired) and basic device metadata (e.g., app version, system version, country). This data cannot be used to identify you personally and is not connected to the anonymized analytics data described above.

Further information on RevenueCat's data processing can be found at revenuecat.com/privacy.

Crash Reports

If you have opted in to share diagnostics with app developers through your device settings, Apple (on iOS) or Google (on Android) may collect and share anonymized crash reports with us. This is managed entirely by the respective platform through its standard crash reporting mechanism and is subject to Apple's or Google's own privacy policy. You can opt out of this at any time in your device's settings — on iOS under Settings > Privacy & Security > Analytics & Improvements, and on Android under Settings > Google > Usage & diagnostics.

Data Storage & Security

All data is stored locally on your device using standard iOS or Android storage mechanisms. If you delete the app, all associated data will be permanently removed. We recommend using your device's built-in backup features (e.g., iCloud backup on iOS, Google account backup on Android) if you wish to preserve your data.

Children's Privacy

Since Baby Log does not collect any personal data, no data about children is ever transmitted or stored outside of your device.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
